About

I’m Aleksander, a photographer based in Oslo, originally from Sarpsborg. I’m an outdoor enthusiast who feels most at home with my camera during walks in the woods and nature. The outdoors brings me both peace and inspiration — it’s often on these walks that the most interesting subjects reveal themselves.

I primarily work with abstract nature and architectural photography, with experimentation at the core of my process. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of photographic expression, whether through multiple exposures, strong contrasts, or unconventional framing. My images often occupy the space between the recognizable and the dreamlike.

My interest in wildlife photography started early. I’ve been photographing animals since I was nine, when my father took me out on photo excursions. The connection to nature and the joy of observing moments in wildlife remain a key driving force in my work.

For me, photography is not just about documenting — it’s about discovering. Seeing, feeling, creating and conveying moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
